We can’t believe it but we’re coming up on 3 years we’ve had this place! So much has happened in so little time. This also means, if we want to keep the bookstore around, it is time for us to renew our lease! And that means writing a big check to make that happen. We definitely want that to happen, and so we decided to put together a fundraiser to help us out with this goal. We know so many of you love our book store, and the idea of indi-bookstores in general and understand the importance of keeping places like this around, especially in the current age! |

So many of you have enjoyed our programs and events over the last 3 years, and many more of you—our Local Gems Press family have enjoyed news and pictures from afar—and the benefits of us having the bookstore as a base of operations for the publishing company and also having many independent poets books on the shelves as well as anthologies of poetry from all over the country and beyond.
